La banda irlandesa U2 prepara una nueva edición del álbum “The Joshua Tree”. El álbum se venderá en formato de doble CD, con los temas remasterizados del álbum original más caras B, rarezas de la grabación de “The Joshua Tree” y un folleto de 36 páginas, y un doble vinilo (CD+DVD) que, entre otros extras, recoge los temas en directo que el grupo interpretó durante el concierto en el Hipódromo de Vincennes de París el 4 de julio de 1987, el documental de la gira del álbum titulado “Outside It’s America” y otro folleto de 16 páginas.
U2 lanzará al mercado el recopilatorio para celebrar el 20 aniversario de la edición de “The Joshua Tree”, un álbum publicado en marzo de 1987 que se convirtió en número 1 en todo el mundo, que ganó el Grammy al “Mejor álbum del año” en 1988 y que, además, la revista Rolling Stone incluyó entre los 500 mejores álbumes de la historia en 2003.
